Hammer Test SADT HT-225D is an integrated digital concrete test hammer which combines data processor and test hammer into one unit. It is widely used for non destructive testing quality of concrete and building materials in finished structure or prefabricated blocks. 

From its rebound value, the compressive strength of con¬ crete can be calculated outautomatically. All testing data can be stored in memory and transferred to PCby USB cable or wireless by Blue tooth.

REBAR DETECTION SYSTEM CO-570S PROFOSCOPE The Profoscope is a versatile, fully-integrated rebar detector and covermeter. It is a compact, light device allowing the user to operate it with one-hand. Profoscope has a unique real-time rebar visualization allowing the user to actually “ SEE” the location of the rebar beneath the concrete surface to a maximum depth of 180 mm. This is coupled with rebar-proximity indicators and optical and acoustical locating aids.

These unique features combine to make the task of locating rebars a simple and efficient process. Rebar diameter can also be estimated within the specified testing range. Profoscope is very simple to use; the intuitive user interface means faster rebar identification.

The W-M-250 Manual Test Hammer is the traditional instrument used for the non-destructive testing of hardened concrete. This easy-to-use instrument provides a quick and simple test for obtaining an immediate indication of concrete strength in various parts of a structure. The minimum verifiable strength is 1400 PSI ( 10 MPa) to approximately 9000 PSI ( 62 MPa) . All concrete test hammers measure the surface hardness of the material they are testing; this is then correlated to concrete compressive strength.

The manual concrete test hammer, aka rebound hammer, schmidt hammer, swiss hammer, sclerometer, is the most widely used non destructive instrument for compressive strength determination. However, it typically has the largest coefficient of variation; therefore its result should be verified with another non destructive test such as the V-Meter MK III.

The EN 12504: 2 Specification requires obligatory the use of the anvil for the hammer tests.
The Standard specifies:
- Before a sequence of tests on a concrete surface, take and record readings using the steel reference anvil and check to ensure that they are within the range recommended by the manufacturer. If they are not, clean and/ or adjust the hammer.
- After tests, take readings using the steel anvil, record them and compare them with those taken prior to the test. If the results differ, clean and/ or adjust the hammer and repeat the test.
