Details:

The Extech MN16A is an extremely compact, extremely lightweight digital multimeter. Despite this fact the MN16A is in fact capable of carrying out several different functions, and can be used to measure DC voltage, AC voltage, DC current, AC Current, Resistance, Frequency, Capacitance, Duty Cycle and Continuity/Diode. In addition it's also possible to carry out temperature measurements by use of the type K thermocouple that's included in the kit

On the front of the MN16A there's a rotary dial where users can select their preffered test parametes, and above this there are buttons for data holding, changing the device's mode, range and a REL button as well. Above all of this the device has an LCD screen which showcases test results as large, easy-to-read digits. Since the back of the tester also includes a built-in tilt stand, users can set the multimeter down when carrying out tests for ease of use.
The MN16A is an autoranging digital multimeter, so it will automatically calculate the range necessary when carrying out testing procedures.
